Connecticut
November 28, 2003 - Connecticut has food to die for (I know I brought home 8 pounds with me *cough*) and some of the small towns are very quaint, but I didn’t find the countryside any prettier than the Ozarks. The amount of people crammed along the east coast is mind boggling, and certainly not for this farm girl. Some years would have to pass before you could talk me into going back! I would still like to see upstate New York, and West Virginia looked beautiful as we passed through it on the drive home.
I’m not going to go into details, but I HAVE to to warn anyone against staying at Ace’s High RV Park. I will simply say this; the park was nice, customer service was appalling. On a brighter note, PLEASE stop and visit a wonderful Italian restaurant called Illiano’s if ever in the area. The food is superb and the service fit for a king!
