Arkansas: Literacy Ain’t Everything ![]()
April 2006 - We’ve moved to another campground, the Hillbilly Haven RV Park in Dover, Arkansas. It’s new, very basic, and we simply love it! There are only 2 50 amp sites here, no cable, no restrooms, and a single washer and dryer. For the last month, we’ve been the only campers here, heavenly!

Jim and I are staying at the Outdoor Living Center RV park, in Russellville Arkansas. We have the 2nd nicest lot in the park, #16, GPS coordinates: N35 18.768 W93 08.281
Lot #17 is the best. These are the two corner lots, backing up to the woods, about a hundred feet off the Lake Dardanelle Reservoir. The campground is fairly small, has WiFi access, cable, and super management. The lots are pretty small, or it may be that we’re just pretty big! Our awning is about 5 inches from our neighbors slideout. But we’ve a huge "backyard" and "sideyard" and parking for two vehicles.
I’ll be adding to this page as we visit places in Arkansas. We expect to be here for about a year, so I expect this section will be fairly large. Right now Jim is too busy for us to go goof off much, but that will change soon and we’ll be making more day trips around the area.
